Bellevue Nashville Apartments

Bellevue Nashville Apartments

When most people think of Bellevue, they think of amazing homes in suburban neighborhoods. What they don’t know about are the hidden gems and up and coming places in and around the area. Just 20 minutes outside the city, Bellevue has a very laid back, secluded feel and accommodations for everyone. You’ll find many Nashville newcomers mixed in with the people that have lived there for ages. If you’re interested in a more affordable, spacious apartment a little ways away from the city, this just might be the perfect fit.

Let’s start with the long list of activities to choose from. The Harpeth River State Park is probably the biggest draw to the area. Locals flock to the river the first chance they get every summer to go canoeing, kayaking, tubing, and fishing. The Narrows of The Harpeth and Hidden Lake are two of the most well-known stops on the river. Both are must-sees for anyone who loves a day on the water! You’ve got your options when it comes to renting canoes and kayaks. There’s Foggy Bottom, Tip-A-Canoe, and Broken Paddle Outfitters. Speaking of water, you must make your way to the West Meade Waterfall if you’re nearby. Trust us, it’s worth the trip! On top of that, two of the most popular parks in Nashville, the Warner Parks, are both in Bellevue. They’ve got plenty of trails for walking, running, and biking (oh my!). The parks also have not just one golf course, but two, AND an equestrian center. Ever heard of Steeplechase? Yeah, we thought so. The race benefits Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital and is only one of many reasons to visit the grounds! The parks also host an outdoor event series each summer called Full Moon Pickin’ Party. There you’ll enjoy food trucks and live bluegrass music. If you’re in need of a place to take your youngsters, Red Caboose Park boasts a playground, old wood cabins, and yes, a red caboose. There’s also the new Ford Ice Center, where you can join a hockey league or go ice skating just for fun!

The restaurant game is thriving in Bellevue. Not only do they have a ton of well-known chains like Chicken Salad Chick and O’Charleys, they also have a lot of locally-owned and very popular options to choose from. Loveless Cafe is probably the most notable in the area. Their infamous biscuits and jam and delicious pies are sure to make you a regular. If you like bar-b-que, honey, we gotchu! Honeyfire BBQ has comfortable outdoor seating and a polished atmosphere making it the perfect place to enjoy their smoked meats and southern classics. If Japanese cuisine is what you need, Sakura is the place for you! Another fan favorite is Pizza Perfect, where the pizza is actually perfect. They’ve been around forever and are a great place for a kid’s birthday party!

Who doesn’t love a good bar and grill? The very obvious answer is no one. Red Line Bar & Grill is a cozy neighborhood bar with an excellent happy hour, great pub grub, and smooth jazz music. If you’re one of those people who likes to be entertained while enjoying a cold beer and a good meal, Alley Pub is the answer to all of your prayers. They’ve got sports, live music, daily specials, and most importantly, happy hour on weekdays from 2-7. They even have karaoke! What’s your go-to song? Corner Pub has a similar sports bar vibe with good ole American food and Plantation Pub is known for their wings- best when eaten on their great patio. Last but not least, Bar Louie is in the house! They’ve got your martinis. They’ve got your microbrews. They’ve got your pub grub. They even have your happy hour. Can’t top that!

As far as shopping goes, you’re looking at some great options for everything you need like Sprouts, Bed Bath & Beyond, and pretty much every major chain you love. If you’re into strip malls, boy, are you in for a treat! Oh and we’ve all collectively decided that we love antiquing, right? Thought so. If you’re not already on the train, hop on! The first (and only) stop is Bellevue Antique Mall- one of Nashville’s most popular stops for people who love the simple pleasure of finding that one thing that’s missing from their collection. Another hidden gem is West End Alterations. They’re cash only but they always get the job done in less than a week for under 20 bucks. Everybody needs a good tailor. Tell your friends!

Something else that’s really special about Bellevue is the neighborhood pools. Getting to enjoy your day off in the hot sun and then taking a dip in that cold water is a feeling that can’t really be matched. What makes them even better is the sense of community they help build. You never know when you might meet your new friend group, your kid’s new bff, or even the love of your life. Okay, maybe a slight exaggeration but hey, you never know! Either way, it’s always nice to get to know your neighbors and what a fun way to do it! We’re seeing a lot of block parties in your future. If the community feel isn’t enough of a reason to move to Bellevue, we’re guessing the never-ending list of things to do just might be your deciding factor!
