Including apartments in neighborhoods such as Nipper’s Corner, Seven Springs, and Brentioch.

We love Brentwood. Between the lively, walkable neighborhoods, shopping areas, incredible food selection, and awesome parks, there’s really nothing left to be missed here. Nestled in between Antioch and Franklin, you get the best of being close to the city (usually a 10-15 minute drive) while being away from the noise and traffic!

“Brentioch” or the area between the heart of Brentwood and the beginning of Antioch, is a neighborhood filled with family, food and fun. You’ll find Mexican cuisine-based food trucks on every corner and honestly, we can’t recommend just one (sorry, you have to try them all and pick a favorite!). We suggest ordering at least two tacos with fresh tortillas and a form of quesadilla from each. Paired with an authentic Mexican soda, you can’t go wrong! There’s no shortage of activities in this area, either. Tusculum Strike and Spare is one of the top bowling alleys in Nashville! Boasting tons of lanes, fun for anyone with games and crazy lights, and alley food paired with buckets of beer, you can’t go wrong with a visit. Want to add a new pal to the family or just explore new types of animals? The Aquatic Critter in Brentioch has thousands of fish and other reptile critters! Head into their reptile store and see GIANT pythons, tarantulas, turtles, and so much more. Next door in their fish area, you can see colorful fish, sharks, and amazing coral that is preserved and taken care of there. You can take a new set up home or just make friends with the fish to visit later. Since you’re on the edge of Antioch, you’re a five minute drive from an AMC, TNT Billiards bar, and much more. Head over to the Antioch Park Greenway and enjoy over 11 miles of trail to walk along water (both paved and unpaved). There are also spots to work out, take the dogs, or the kids! Needless to say, there’s no shortage of things to do without leaving the neighborhood!

Head to Nipper’s Corner area for the afternoon and hit some of our top spots. Subculture should be top on your list. Their menu is full of Latin-American options, including churrasco sandwiches, pimento cheese empanadas, hot chicken ramen, and so much more. Not in the mood to munch? Snag one of their specialty lattes with flavors like peppermint and white chocolate, or sip on a local beer. Looking to dine at home? Both the Kroger and Publix in Nipper’s Corner are top notch. The Publix even boasts one of Nashville’s only pineapple corer machine! Pick a pineapple, insert a cup, click a button, and boom! You have a totally ready to enjoy, already cut and extremely juicy pineapple. Looking for something to do? Head towards charming Crieve Hall and visit the Nashville Zoo! The zoo has tons of activities, like zookeepers doing animal shows, nightlife events like Brew at the Zoo, and even a zipline ride. It’s the perfect afternoon exploring wildlife, snacking on pizza, and learning new facts. Plus, in the next few years, they have over 60 acres to fill with new exhibits! While you’re in the area, stop by Crieve Hall’s farmers market and shop for local goodies. The market is every Thursday starting in May and offers fresh produce, live music, food trucks, and crafts for the kids.

As you head into Brentwood, the shopping and food options are endless. Stop into the Seven Springs area and pick up an acai bowl or smoothie at local favorite E+Rose Wellness. They also carry fresh grab ‘n go items like salads, juices, and juice shots, or have a pantry of local + national wellness goods that are delicious AND good for you. If you’re in need of a work spot, the Well Coffeehouse has awesome coffee and snack options, plus gives back to a good cause! Their Brentwood location has ample seating, a quiet environment and reliable wi-fi (obviously a must). There are also doctors options galore in Seven Springs. Head to the urgent care for quick needs, or schedule long term care with dentists and orthopedics in the area! A little further down the road you’ll find one of the best Targets in Nashville (the dollar section is always stocked and there’s never a shortage of viral Target finds!), along with other services like a blow out bar, tanning salon, and wax spa.

Brentwood is one of the best neighborhoods in Nashville for newcomers, families, college students, or anyone looking for a good time within a short distance from grocery options, activities, incredible cuisine, and more!
