Things to do in Smyrna

The Escape Game

One of the fun and unique activities that you can find in Smyrna is the Escape Game. The Escape Game is a 60-minute experience with all different kinds of themes. By using clues, you can work together with your teammates to crack the code of the escape. Starting at $32.99, this is an exciting, fun, and family-friendly activity to enjoy!

There are different levels of difficulty, and it’s the perfect experience for groups, a date, or a family. Get stuck? They’ll give you extra clues!

Eat at Cousins Maine Lobster

One of the best spots for foodies in Smyrna is Cousins Maine Lobster. Starting as a small food truck company, this now small counter-serve restaurant has some of the best lobster you will ever enjoy.

Some of the bites that make this food truck so popular are the Lobster rolls, Lobster BLT, Maine Whole Belly Fried Clams, and even more!

Their Maine Lobster is brought straight to Smyrna from the Downeast waters in the most eastern part of the country, better known as the Mid Coast, or the Penobscot Bay near Vinalhaven in the Gulf of Maine. The lobster is served in a variety of formats including tacos, quesadillas, bisque, and even tots (our favorite, by far)!

Other than lobster, Cousins Maine Lobster also serves haddock, fish and chips, shrimp, clam chowder, and much more. If you’re a fan of indulging a little or trying new foods, this is for you.

Visit Walden Pumpkin Farm

A Tennessee favorite Walden Pumpkin Farm will be a true treat for you! With a large and full selection of pumpkins, gourds, Indian corn, and straw all available, this is a great spot to come in the fall to gather all of your festive seasonal supplies as soon as the leaves start to change. Not only are you able to go check out all of the latest seasonal produce to bring home, but you are also able to enjoy some fun interactive activities there. You can go on fun hay rides as well as taste some of the limited edition pumpkin fudge (drool!) This spot is perfect for any age to have a blast.

Paint and Sip Wine in Painting with a Twist

Another fun activity to enjoy in Smyrna is Painting with a Twist! This activity allows you to engage in a fun painting activity while sipping on a beverage of your choice. Twist your night by sipping, socializing, and creating. They offer a large variety of services including in-person events at the studio, at-home kits, private events, and even virtual events!

They truly have something for everyone here. This is a perfect spot to bring your mom, a date, or a large group of friends. They even allow you to rent out the studio for your group if you are having a birthday party or other special event – just call and book ahead of time.

They even have a special offering where you can paint your pet. Love painting and trivia? You’re in luck – Painting with a Twist hosts the local trivia night once a week, too!

Check out CycleBar

For boutique gym lovers, be sure to check out CycleBar. A boutique, chic cycle studio with a friendly staff and an energy that makes working out fun!

They have a large variety of class options here including a connect ride where there are no stats shown on the board and limited choreography to allow you a moment to yourself away from all other obligations.

In addition, they have an Xpress ride option, a 30-minute class that gives you the perfect high-intensity workout short enough to fit into your lunch break!

One of our favorite options is the Cyclegives ride. This ride chooses an organization to support and collects proceeds that go directly to the cause. If you are looking for motivation to get back to the gym, hit up CycleBar next time you are in the area and enjoy the first ride on them!

If you are looking to settle down in a more suburban area while still in close, commutable distance to the city, Smyrna would be a perfect spot for you to reside. With a more simple living lifestyle, Smyrna is a friendly environment with a wide array of entertainment, dining, and outdoor activities.
