What do you love about being a Consultant at Apartment Insiders?
What I love about being a consultant with Apartment Insiders is how we are completely client-oriented and care so much about giving the best experience possible. I also love that we stay up to date on the market and how changes affect what we do and how we do it!
Why do you do what you do?
I love having flexibility with my schedule and freedom from the typical 9-5 office grind. We get to work with all walks of life and use the knowledge that we’ve worked hard to obtain to help them find a place to call home! It’s fun, challenging at times, yet SO rewarding. It beats any job I’ve ever had by a long shot.
What do you love about the culture at Apartment Insiders?:
I love the culture that Joel has created for our team because we take our jobs seriously, yet we also know how to have fun! We’re independent agents but we’re all working towards the same goal, so that makes us a team.
Favorite Thing About Living in Nashville:
My favorite thing about living in Nashville is the culture. Music, creativity, fun, and Southern charm.
What brought you to Nashville?:
I visited once and moved 3 weeks later. I wanted a change and once I decided to move, I made it happen.
What’s at least one professional and/or educational accomplishment you’ve had?
Valedictorian of my High School haha that’s about all I got. I’m training to run a marathon so I’ll keep you posted on that one.
Who are you or what do you do outside of work?
Outside of work I am usually hanging out with my friends, working out, or watching movies! I also love travelling to places I have never been and meeting new people.
Favorite Nashville activity:
Walking around Percy Priest Lake on a beautiful sunny day.
What’s at least one professional and/or educational accomplishment that you’ve had?
One accomplishment that I’m pretty proud of is that I obtained my yoga teaching certification! Yoga has been a massive part of my life and has helped me overcome so much. The certification helped me find more confidence than I’ve felt in a long time and empowered me to go after what I want in life. That I am enough, capable, and loved!
Who are you or what do you do outside of work?
Yoga! (lol) I spend most of my time with my husband during my free time and we love to go on hikes, do yoga, read together, meditate, get creative with some art, and cook food! I also started an online eCommerce business that I will one day invest more time and money into.
Is there something people might be surprised to know about you?
What may surprise you about myself is that once upon a time, I was an actress in LA and I loved performing. I grew up doing competitive All-Star Cheer and could do a backflip over someone’s head. I also lived in Australia for a while!
What are some of your key personal values and how do they affect your work?
I care a lot about integrity and follow-through. Whatever I say I’m going to do, I do my 100% best to follow through with it. I’m not perfect all of the time but I do my best. I’m also obsessed with showing up on time to work or for appointments and I love connecting with people!

It’s gotta be sushi and sake!

The Beatles by far!
Memorable client experience:
I worked with a super nice couple that had just sold their house. Because the market is so hot, it sold faster than they could find a new one! They needed an apartment until they could buy a new home, which has been incredibly difficult for most people right now. While we were working together, they actually got approved for a new construction that hadn’t finished yet! However, they still needed a temporary living situation until it was move-in ready. In our meeting, I found them exactly what they were looking for and they applied and got approved so quickly, which was a massive relief after all of the stress they had been under for weeks!
