Apartment Insiders, an energetic and fun apartment locating company focused on the Nashville-area market, is looking to fill several professional Apartment Locator positions asap.
Hundreds of apartment communities trust Apartment Insiders to bring them pre-qualified residents. The service is totally free to the resident. The apartments pay us a commission for helping fill one of their vacant apartments.
Our Consultants make a nice living ($60,000 – $110,000 annually) while still having flexibility. You’ll control what you earn.

It’s vital that you are authentically enthusiastic about living in the Nashville area and can’t shut up about it. Working quickly when a new lead comes in to convert it to a lease is a must. You’ll need to be politely assertive and confident in your apartment market knowledge. Screening prospective client eligibility by asking defined questions as well as answering questions will be a priority. As will driving prospective residents to multiple apartment communities so they can select which one will be their new home.
While you won’t have to be a sales badger like this guy:
Ambition and motivation should be in your nature.
You’ll need to be a good listener with a winning attitude, an effective communicator, and maintain a professional appearance. Even when you don’t close a deal, you must ensure the apartment shopper walks away with a pleasant experience.
Our company culture is far removed from pushy salesmen who’d sell their mom’s kidneys on the black market, but we do expect results…
- There is a large marketing component to this role.
- You’ll be procuring your own leads, which is part of any sales job (we provide tools and training to easily and steadily gather qualified leads, you just have to put in the effort).
- Apartment Insiders provides you with additional, qualified leads.
- Expect to work with a wide variety of people to efficiently help them find their new Nashville apartment.
- You’ll have multiple clients (some famous – control goosebumps) so juggling them effectively ensures current prospects/clients all receive first-class service.
If you do not love helping people and having fun while doing it, this opportunity is not for you. While the money and lifestyle is good, it cannot be the only reason you interview with us. We’ve got trained poodles that can sniff that out.
Your map to success:
- Following up immediately with company provided leads.
- Posting intriguing apartment ads.
- Building great referral relationships with people or places such as human resources departments, etc.
- Managing your social media accounts to attract new clients and just look professional in general.
The company’s owner/leader:
A local Nashville apartment industry veteran and the pioneer of Nashville’s apartment locating industry.
Career entrepreneur that previously founded successful companies in the real estate space.
Recently exited his last company to use his proven system again!
Education: A PhD from Princeton is preferred. However, not having a college degree won’t hold you back.
Training/Licenses: You’ll need a Tennessee Real Estate license. Don’t let that part scare you. So if you already have one, great! If not, be prepared to earn one quickly. We’ll successfully coach you through the process as we have done for so many others.
Don’t worry if you don’t have your real estate license yet. Most of our Team earned their real estate licenses after meeting with us first. They found the test easy after following our proven study methodology.
After you earn your real estate license, Apartment Insiders’ training program is absolutely the best in the business. If you want to be successful, we have no doubt we can make you successful doing this.
Specific Equipment Needed: Smartphone. Computer. Clean working vehicle with maintained auto insurance.
Working Conditions: You will have a furnished workspace at our Nashville office. However, this opportunity does offer flexible hours with the occasional option of e-commuting.
Bear in mind that occasionally staying late, starting early, and some weekend work will be necessary. For times when you’ll be working from home, Apartment Insiders has an excellent technology platform that will enable you to be super productive.
Physical functions of this position which may include, but are not limited to:
- Ability to walk large properties.
- Climb four flights of stairs during apartment tours.
- Consider this our company gym perk. Your Fitbit will love you.
Compensation: $60,000 – $110,000 annually. More details on how this is paid out if you are selected. Our commission splits can be pretty generous. We love to celebrate our Team’s successes. You win, we win. Please know this is a 100% commission opportunity. However, following our systems and training program will yield predictive and productive results for you. We also have a helpful draw program.
