Eat and Drink in Downtown Nashville

Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge

One of our favorite spots for live music in Lower Broadway is Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge, a charming purple-painted bar. Tootsies is a true staple for your bar hopping in this area and for people-watching. The lively atmosphere ensures there is never a dull moment, with a constant influx of bachelorette parties, birthday celebrations, and attendees spilling over from events at Bridgestone Arena across the street.

AJ’s Good Time Bar

Head across the street to AJ’s Good Time Bar, owned by Alan Jackson, and find the dreamiest rooftop view. This spot is ideal for the perfect Nashville skyline view and throwing back a couple of well-made Jell-O shots. It’s known for 90s country cover bands at all times, so get your throwback singing game ready.

Merchant’s

Hungry? Head over to Merchant’s, a Broadway staple for actual dinner food, or switch it up with Taco Bell’s one-of-a-kind cantina and enjoy a bar vibe with the go-to late-night menu you know and love.

Nudie’s and Kid Rock’s

Once you’ve had a little drunk nibble, head over to Nudie’s. The talent is always incredible, but the true spectacle is the memorabilia on every wall.

Looking for more of a dance floor vibe? Kid Rock has tons of options for everyone, boasting different floors with different styles of music.

Lower Broadway’s convenience of walking from bar to bar and finding something new at each one is a definite highlight of Nashville!

Rooftops in Nashville

Not a huge bar person but still love the buzz of live music? The view on Lower Broadway may be enough to keep you there, too. With the perfect view of the legendary AT&T building, the Cumberland River flowing, and of course the famous pedestrian bridge, it’s hard to get tired of the skyline from any rooftop on Lower Broadway.

Rooftop bars like Rarebird at Noelle and Bobby Hotel have a spectacular view that’s away from the bar scene but still within walking distance.

Things to do Downtown

Head to Fifth and Broadway

Don’t want to stray too far? Head to Fifth and Broadway. The largest food hall in the States has shopping, food, pampering, and stunning views of Nashville from every angle. To highlight a few of the options, our favorites are Agave Maria, CoCos Italian, Donut Distillery, Smokin Chicken, and the Pharmacy Burger!

With tons of shopping, dining, beauty treatments, and live music, this is the perfect spot to show off for everyone.

Our favorites? Check out Sixty Vines, a wine-themed eatery with a stunning interior that will make the Instagram feed.

Do you want a celeb bar? Check out the Twelve-Thirty club from Justin Timberlake (and maybe run into him if you’re lucky!) The celeb run-ins won’t stop there: head up to Fifth and Broadway’s outdoor stage area and run into someone you know taking the stage at any time.

Visit Bridgestone Arena

More of a sports fan? Head across the street to Bridgestone Arena. From hockey games to concerts, this is your place! Everyone in Nashville must experience a Preds game at least once – especially during a winning season.
